The set includes 5 filberts (sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12), 5 rounds (sizes: 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11), and one size 2 round detail brush. They are intended to be watercolor brushes. I tested them with watercolor and found them to perform exceptionally in all areas. They hold water well without dripping, the round brushes hold a point and are easy to work with from narrow to wide, and the filberts are excellent to work with, especially in abstract painting. Throughout my painting, I saw no loose hairs and was impressed with the action of the bristles. I used them with watercolor and with acrylic paint and was equally pleased with both. A bonus is that they come in a metal box, so it's easy to keep the set in order. Lou Belcher Review: Nice Brushes! - Great brushes for the price. They have a nice snap. Seem like a nice quality..
