I actually put in the return request and have hesitated. I love the construction and the quality of the materials used. I have two small dogs, one is 13lbs and the other 7lbs. I took the dual lead out for a test run and they didn't seem to mind the bulkiness BUT they were unable to move/stretch the bungee cord. The bungee is just too strong for the little ones. The metal clasps are something I have always had issues with in the past with several different leashes. Both dogs are harnessed and I have found that large HEAVY clasps are extremely annoying to them and not necessary. The larger and heavier the clasps are the more it bounces on their backs as they walk and literally pulls down the harness to one side. Sorry, for the long story but amazingly your clasps are light for the size, I approve. What I really think is overkill for the S and XS dogs is the need for the cumbersome dual handles on the split leads. Maybe a version without the handles and a lighter weight bungee? One last thought. I would love to be able to use this across the body as opposed to around the waist. I did lengthen it to the max and I can get across my body but it's a little short of the waist and needing about another 3" or so to have it waist height. The webbing is very nice. it's STRONG but also quite flexible and comfortable to wear. Especially when I tried it over the shoulder and across the body. If feels like it would be comfortable in contact with bare skin as it would be during the hot summer months. Would love a XS/S version with: 1. lighter weight bungee cord and NO handles for the split lead. 2. option for across the body belt. Either by extending the length of the existing belt or providing optional 'expanders' or both. Living in the north it would be great to be able to wear this over a coat. I know, one cannot satisfy everyone but I think you would have a great niche market based on the above because there are a lot of seniors with small dogs like me and at the moment there is NOTHING that qualifies. I give them 5++ stars. I had the leash for a year and it was working great for our 2 dogs. It was great quality and well worth the money paid for it. It helped greatly to keep 2 high energy dogs contained while working them. However, our dog decided to chew the leash while we were walking her and ripped it. I contacted the company to see if I could purchase the part of the leash that was ripped. The owner responded quickly and sent me another leash for free.
