Tube thermometers you can by putting in ice water and sliding tube as need be.** A: I don't believe these can be calibrated. I have two side by and the temperature remains within one degree of each other but the humidity difference is usually 10-15%. **Q: Does this have a calibration feature? I want to be able to periodically recalibrate.** A: No, it does not. I find it to be quite accurate, though! I would imagine that you could just remove the battery and re-insert it to recalibrate. But manually, no calibration feature. I have baseboard heat with no thermostat so this really helps me know room temperature and humidity. Good product! **Q: Can you change celcius to Fahrenheit? I got mine and it’s reading celcius, prefer Fahrenheit** A: Ours is on Fahrenheit so you must be able to change it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value for money and work well. *by on Reviewed in the United States 21 September 2026* We have Ecobee thermostats that control two of our heat pumps and a Honeywell that controls a third. I noticed that the one in our main bedroom was showing high humidity and temperature which seemed at odds with the rest of the house. I bought these thermometer/ humidity units to test against the Ecobee. Both units read at times one or two points different on the humidity, for example 42% and 43% and the temperature is either the same or 0.1 different. I compared them with two instant read kitchen thermometers and they registered the same temperature. Obviously, positioning will influence the readings for comparison purposes.I know this is not truly scientific just positioning the units alongside or on too of thermostats but good enough to show the Ecobee temperature reading was consistently five degrees higher and the humidity 18 points higher. Measured next to the Honeywell thermostat the humidity was the same. On the dehumidifier bought as a result of the Ecobee readings it was just a percentage point or two different. Good enough for me. I could have tested the humidity measurement more scientifically but I just wanted a rough and ready guide for which these units seem perfect. Worked well enough to get A over to send a replacement thermostat which reads more accurately.The units are compact with a little fold-out stand and a magnet that is strong enough as I tested them on a wall light and they held up perfectly. Readability is fine although there is no backlighting option. A little happy face emoji appears when humidity is good. Can't comment on battery life but I'd imagine it will be fine and worst case would involve changing out the no-name batteries supplied.
