This is a very accurate and easy to use thermometer with excellent ergonomics for elderly people.It is big and thick compared to other thermometers which makes it very easy for to hold. The large color coded, high contrast display is very easy to read. It gets a reading pretty fast and beeps very loudly when it is done. All of this is good for elderly parents, but I probably won’t get one of these for babies. The readings are consistent and match my trusty Kinsa and Braun Thermoscan 7+. I can’t comment on the battery life yet, but it does use a standard CR 2032 cell unlike the smaller thermometer specific button cells which some other thermometers use.This is a few dollars more expensive than other popular stick thermometers, but I think it’s good value for the overall accuracy, standard batteries and ergonomics.
