It will NOT power the handheld monitor (the screen you carry around), which uses a different adapter. Please confirm before purchase. **Q: Will it work with both the DXR-8 and the DXR-8 PRO?** A: Yes. This replacement adapter fits the camera unit of both the original DXR-8 (3.5" system) and the DXR-8 PRO (5.0" system), as well as the Add-on Camera Unit. **Q: Which plug type / region is this adapter made for?** A: This item ships with a US two-prong plug built to FCC and UL safety standards. Because the adapter itself accepts 100V–240V input, it can be used internationally with a simple plug-shape converter (no voltage transformer required). ## Frequently Bought Together - Infant Optics Official Power Cord Adapter for DXR-8 Camera Unit (Not Compatible with Monitor Unit. 2019 Original Infant Optics Accessory), White - Infant Optics Official Power Cord Adapter for DXR8 PRO Monitor Unit NOT for Camera Unit NOT for DXR8, White - Infant Optics Wide Angle Lens For DXR-8 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/69516856-infant-optics-official-power-cord-adapter-for-dxr-8-dxr](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/69516856-infant-optics-official-power-cord-adapter-for-dxr-8-dxr) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
