Let’s research together *by S***D on 21 June 2025* I saw some videos on tiktok that said that yerba mate is like an all natural “ozempic” dupe, and while thats definitely not true, I found a lot of research that said yerba mate is a really good source of smooth and natural energy and can help boost your metabolism. First things first, the bag is HUGE. Depending on how much you use per serving this will last you forever and based on the smell it’s definitely strong and potent. As soon as I opened the bag I was greeted with an organic, earthy, grassy matcha-esque smell that was very pleasant. I brewed it in warm water along with some lavender buds and the brew was very tasty and not bitter at all. Im usually a sweet drink drinker but since this is supposed to be a healthy alternative to my daily morning juneberry redbull I decided to forgo the sweetener and drank it plain. I enjoyed my first cup and was surprised at how smooth and easy to drink the taste was, I often find plain tea and coffee hard to choke down because of the bitterness but this was very nice The brew was very transparent in color and came out as a pale green liquid and I think this may be due to my temperature, and steep time.
