Review: Easy, fast and strong. - Effortless set up. It is my main router connected with a 2.5G backhaul Ethernet cable to my BT6. For me it is a really user friendly interface. No dead spots in my house anymore. I actually had to turn down the transmit power as it was overpowering everything to clean up the signal and got even faster speeds. No issues with dropped connections. Just be sure to update the firmware on the main router and Node as it appears to have fixed some earlier issues. I highly recommend it.

If you are coming from xt8/xt9, you may need one more node than you're used to depending on your layout and environment. These seem way more affected by physical barriers than those older ones on all frequencies.

Asus has finally stabilized the firmware for the bt8/be14000. If you are coming from xt8/xt9, you may need one more node than you're used to depending on your layout and environment. These seem way more affected by physical barriers than those older ones on all frequencies.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great with OpenWrt 25.12

Flashed the latest OpenWrt when I got this, which was 25.12.4. Process was straightforward. Needs a workaround to enable 6ghz band, but that's an OpenWrt issue. Stability is solid. Signal seems better than the Banana Pi R4 that I used previously.
