Review: Amazing!! - I don't often write product reviews, but Soak has earned every bit of this five-star rating. I first discovered Soak wash a couple of years ago and used it successfully on my athletic and performance clothing, but recently I was amazed by what it did for delicate items. I had a white camisole that had lost its brightness despite being washed with gentle detergent on the delicate cycle and even treated with OxiClean. After soaking it in Soak, it came out pristinely white. The same thing happened with a delicate summer dress that I thought would never look the same again. During the soak, the water turned yellow, which I suspect was residue from detergent buildup or chlorine in the water. After Soak Wash the dress looked new. The water had a yellow tinge to it. I use 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ascorbic acid to neutralize the chlorine in the tap water. At 75 years old, I've tried a lot of laundry products over the decades, and this is hands-down the most effective one I've ever used. These days, I hand-wash almost everything—T-shirts, dresses, delicates—using Soak. The only things I still put in the washing machine are sheets and towels. I also love that it's plant-based and made with thoughtfully chosen ingredients. It's gentle on fabrics, easy to use, and delivers incredible results.
