I would say this is best for cracks 1/8 to 1/4 or an inch. **Q: I have bricks that edge my porch that are loose. Will this work?** A: It might, it's really for filling cracks in pavement, driveways, etc, for keeping water/snow out to help stop expansion, I did use it last year to piece togather broken cement from around steps, but after 1 year it came apart, depending on color of your bricks, it comes in grey. **Q: I have bugs coming from from walls with open cracks its not concrete but just a wall, is it still cool to use it?** A: I wouldn't if it's not a concrete wall. Use silicone instead. **Q: does it seal out water have crack in concrete crown of chimney** A: Yes it does. I brushed down with a wire brush as much as I could, and applied this. The color is very nice, and the way it dispenses out of the bottle is great! I've been using the type that comes out of a large caulk type tube, and if you don't use all of that, it's terrible trying to get it restarted. That's what I had tried to do before opening this. It flows well, and it seems like it starts to cure pretty quickly. When I went to top off a couple of spots, I could tell a skin had formed on the top.
