For allergies you want to have the air space in your room filter through about 4 times in an hour, which is why I'm looking for that value of 104 CFM. If you just want cleaner air, the CFM doesn't have to be nearly as high. There is also a model with aromatherapy/diffuser capabilities that has a CFM of about 211 for the same price point. I got that information directly from Mooka's customer support.
