Review: Good photos in tight spaces - Easy to use. Good picture quality. Bought a non-articulating version first. That was a waste. I'm using this for engines but handy other ways too.
Review: Great articulation and compact head, but limited screen rotation - I’ve tried a few of these inspection cameras and this one stands out for a couple of reasons. The head is nice and compact, which makes it easier to get into tighter spaces than some of the bulkier models. The articulation is also really well done. It moves smoothly and doesn’t bind up like others I’ve used, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to look around corners or fine tune your view. Image quality is so-so, but that’s pretty much in line with other tools in this price range. It’s good enough for inspection work, just don’t expect anything super sharp. What I didn’t like is the display rotation. It only rotates 180 degrees, which feels limiting in practice. There are plenty of situations where a 90 degree rotation would make viewing much more natural, especially when working in tight or awkward orientations. You can work around it, but it’s not as intuitive as it could be. Overall, it does the core job very well, especially the articulation, which is the main reason to buy something like this. Just be aware of the screen rotation limitation going in.
