A: It’s in a plastic bottle

**Q: does this grated cheese melt on food like the more expensive brands? I remember as a child we ate this kind only and it doesn't melt at all.**
A: This is really fine and sprinkles like a powder.  Some grated cheeses are thicker and stringy.  I use this all the time with soups or anything that has tomato.  It mixes in really nice and is flavorful.

A: It will vary depending on the seller. No matter which seller you purchase it from, the expiration date will be no less that 3 months out from your purchase date.

Tastes okay great but still not keen on them putting in cellulose powder so I use it sparingly as a backup when I run out of real parmesan. Kraft needs to stop putting in that junk that humans can't digest very well.
