It was about 3:00 in the morning and I had to get my girlfriend a ride at 6:00 a.m. I really, really needed to go back to sleep but I was in such pain and she had offered to allow me to use her TENS unit to see if it would help. I put it on and oh my God, that thing was a lifesaver!! After wearing it for maybe 10 minutes I was able to fall asleep. After that, I was completely sold. To me that was huge because I knew I was going to be using this quite frequently and I didn't want to have to keep buying batteries for the thing. This model also is more powerful than the model she had and has more modes. It is the same size as her model though, which is very small, smaller than the size of an old school Walkman. Very easy to use and it has a clip on the back so you can clip it to your shorts or your waistband while you are using it. It really feels great on achy muscles and is rather enjoyable. I Like that it also comes with a carrying case to keep it safe. This thing is a lifesaver for anybody with chronic pain, especially when Ibuprofen and Tylenol, and muscle relaxers aren't doing the trick.
