Needed a small extension for my quad lock mount and this fit the bill perfectly! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect extension for my DIY dash phone mount!! *by N***N on November 14, 2025* This mount is just as reliable and has the same quality as the more known name brand RAM. I actually bought this one and a RAM mount but like the length on this one better for my needs than the shorter RAM mount. I used this to extend the space between a molle panel mounting bracket and my phone in my truck. My setup goes: Dash mount molle panel, 1" 1/4-20 thread ball mount, this FPN mounting arm, a 1" Quad Lock ball mount, my phone. This assembly moves the phone far enough away from the dash to access all the controls and still see the clock etc, but also moves the phone out far enough so that it's within easy reach, unlike flush dash mounts and windows mounts that you have to reach way forward to get ahold of your phone.
