## Description

desertcart.com : U Chocolate Organic Cacao Powder, Fresh from our Farm – Unsweetened & Non-Alkalized, Not Dutch-Processed – Single-Origin Peruvian Criollo Cacao – Allergen-Free, Vegan – For Baking & Hot Cocoa – 16 oz : Grocery & Gourmet Food

## Features

- FRESH FROM OUR FARM, SINGLE-ORIGIN: Criollo fine aroma cacao harvested and processed on our own plantation in the Peruvian desertcart. As close to the source as it gets, for unmatched freshness in every spoonful.
- NO INTERMEDIARIES, FULL TRACEABILITY: We control the entire process from our farm to you. This direct model guarantees the highest quality standards, complete transparency, and a product crafted with care at every step.
- USDA ORGANIC, KOSHER & PURE: Just one ingredient, our certified organic cacao beans. Non-alkalized, with no sugar, fillers or preservatives, in a resealable bag that keeps it fresh.
- ALLERGEN-FREE FACILITY: Made in a dedicated facility free from the major FDA-recognized allergens, including gluten, dairy and nuts, so the whole family can enjoy it worry-free.
- PURE FLAVOR, ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES: Our non-alkalized powder delivers a deep, smooth chocolate taste — a clean, plant-based source of magnesium and cocoa flavanols that fits effortlessly into your daily wellness routine. Its fine texture blends easily into smoothies and baking, making it the perfect ingredient for everything from brownies and cakes to smoothies and hot chocolate.
- THIRD-PARTY TESTED FOR HEAVY METALS: Our cacao is tested by an independent laboratory using ICP-MS. Per 6 g serving: lead under 0.2 mcg (about 40% of California's Prop 65 daily limit of 0.5 mcg) and cadmium under 3.6 mcg (below the 4.1 mcg Prop 65 limit). Arsenic and mercury not detected. Lab certificate available on request.
- SMOOTH HOT COCOA TIP: Because it is non-alkalized (not Dutch-processed), our cacao powder keeps its natural flavor and dissolves more slowly than Dutch cocoa. Whisk it first into a splash of warm milk to form a smooth paste, then add the rest, or use a blender or milk frother for a silky cup.
