The rubberized grip helps maintain control. The blade stays sharp and the occasional (2-3 times over the course of a big animal) steeling keeps it going strong. Blade shape is great for following the bone and getting every ounce of meat. The tip is sharp and useful for fine work. The plastic sheath allows the blade to dry and the knife positively snaps into the retention. I would definitely buy again. Top notch product.
