If you have used the GEL 1000 series in the past I have no hesitation is using this product. My old trainers gave me hot spots on the sole of one foot but these are just brilliant and want to make you run further in them because they are so soft underfoot to wear. I have been a fan of Asics for about 8 years now and will not buy anything else when it comes to sport trainers and they always support your feet and don't end up smelling awful after a couple of months.
