Toasted my first slice today. White bread setting. Dial at 3 and it came out beautifully golden, evenly gold & crispy. It was my home made white loaf. Slice was about 3/4 of an inch. I will add more over time. P.S The dimensions are wrong on Sage website, Amazon and any review that’s just copied the dimensions from the manufacturers website. I absolutely love this - best toaster ever! Not only does it look so cool (I bought the matching kettle as well) in my kitchen, but it toasts to perfection! And having the option to set for brown/white bread, crumpets etc is an amazing addition. And I love the retro look of the dial on the front. Love it!
