Review: Hermit crabs seem to enjoy although it took some time - I was trying to get a variety of food for my hermit crabs and these were recommended. I hate bugs so this immediately grossed me out but it’s for the hermies so I set aside my feeling and made little meals for them. They do smell but it’s not horrible. It smells like a dead bug. There are full size pretty large crickets and legs in there. So far they seem to like them. It was a really good price and last a long time. I have 15 hermies and have only gone through a quarter of the bottle. They do get bored if you give it to them every nigh though so I switch it up. Overall good purchase

**Q: Can I feed these to a venus fly trap? I believe I just need to get them a little wet first?**
A: I bought these for my healthy venus fly trap. Fed a few small pieces and within a week, the traps I fed turned black and moldy. Do not feed you venus these worms!

**Q: Would these be good for hermit crabs?**
A: My hermit crabs love these shrimps. I am sometimes able to hand feed them with these

**Q: Do these sink once rehydrated?**
A: Well I don't know if they sink I feed them to my koi and they love them they don't last long

**Q: What's the average size of the shrimp?**
A: They are different sizes but mostly around 3/4 inch probably.  Some are smaller some are bigger but, my 7 month old turtles LOVE these! I bought a different brand this last time because it was bigger and would last longer but they dont like them as well... get these and save ur time!

These grasshoppers are a very good value; they are large and mostly intact, and much less expensive than the freeze dried crickets I was buying, and my box turtle likes them more. From my turtle’s point of view, the scent and the taste are awesome. Once in a very long while you might find a cicada or a praying mantis thrown in—score for Mr. Turtle!
