XPD XP3-S S55-021 Racing Motorcycle Boots, Black/Red

## Features

- Available in four different color. CE EN13634/02 certified: upper abrasion resistance level 1 and upper cutting resistance level 1.
- Areas Vented micro fiber (1.5mm thick) areas. Suede 2.2mm thick on inner side of the boot, highly heat and abrasion resistant. Shock absorber structure made of polyurethane on shin, heel and ankle. Slider and padded shifter.
- Outer Material: Composite Fiber
- Inner Material: Leather
- Closure: Zip
- Aerodynamic rear fin. Upper slider. Soft polyurethane profile on shin to avoid leather suit misplacement. Calf adjustment by Velcro. Fastening zip.
- Shin/heel area vents with additional vents over shin area. Stainless steel sliders. Air Tech arch support coupled with three-dimensional inner mesh for ideal sweat dispersion.
- Nylon insole prevents crushing and puncturing. Vulcanized rubber sole with racing engraving and slider-friendly rounded edges. Diagonal heel design keeps ideal foot positioning on bike pads.

    Possibly good but....

Hate giving cautious reviews, and this could well just be this one pair of boots.  I bought these as a warehouse deal as well, so they had been a customer return (normally that means a size problem-but not in this case).  The problem with this particular pair was that the sole on the left instep had detached from the boot, but then spread and the inside was essentially detached almost toe to heel, but not visibly so at a glance.For a motocycle boot that would be a big problem in an accident, even though the rigidity of the components didnt make it too obvious just to look at.  I suspect the glue to bond the components may not have been up the job.  Someone may have then tried to fix it and failed.Anyway, no problems in returning to Amazon and it may have just been this one pair, but thought I should flag anyway.In other respects it looked like a good boot, but unfortunately I never got to try them in use.
