These bulbs give off a soft light that is a lot brighter than you'd expect from a .50w bulb. I use these bulbs in my window candles that usually use a 7w bulb. These bulbs give off a beautiful, warm, amber glow at only .5w - which I love. The amber tone of these bulbs is perfect for accent lighting around the house AND it saves on electric bills.

**Q: Will these work in an electric candle that photo detects dusk-to-dawn?**
A: These didn’t work for me in dusk to dawn window candles. They blink on and off (not a flicker...a definite blink). They are nice, however, in other fixtures. The color of the light is nice and I expect them to last a good long time.

**Q: Are these bulbs okay to use outside?**
A: These are LED versions of the class C7 light bulbs and as such are suitable for outdoor use.

**Q: Is it 50lm or 75lm ? Photo says 50, description says 75**

this clear glass is soft warm white 50lm.
it is low power use in the string lights or led night light.

**Q: Do these get hot???  i want to use them in a night light**
A: The base gets hot just like an incandescent bulb but the glass part stays fairly cool, getting only a little warm. They're appropriate for night lights.  If you have a nightlight shade that clips to the bulb you'll be fine.
