Transfers move quickly enough that loading the library over was not something I had to sit and wait on. It stays connected without dropping or needing to be reseated. The drive is small enough to sit next to the server without taking up any real space and it doesn't get warm to the touch. The rubberized body feels solid and the carabiner loop is there if you want to clip it to something, though mine just stays put. I didn't bother with the included software. Both of them have been running without a hiccup and I have no complaints.
