They do stretch so I'm sure that would be OK for boots as well. **Q: I wear a size 6 women's boot. Which size do I need pls?** A: You should order SMALL... Yaktrax official size guide for the PRO is U.S. Women's Size: 6.5-10, which equates to: UK 4-8 As an official Yaktrax dealer and stockist I also double checked the information Yaktrax provide us with the information printed on the product packs. The packs state: S=38-40, M=41-43, L=44-46, XL=46+ so the information is consistent. These size guides are based on standard shoes, so even taking into account the thicker and wider soles of a boot, which has a volumizing effect - adding a size to your standard shoe size - you are still within the recommended range. Actually glad I was forced to go that route, as the pros are a superior product construction wise to the standard Yaktrax. That's not to say the standards are bad, but these are just better built. For snowy and icy conditions these make a huge difference. I'm a fully able person, but we started using these years ago (standard versions) for my wife and child who both had separate mobility issues, meaning traversing snow or ice would have a high chance of fall. When using these in appropriate conditions, neither of them have ever come close to fall again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 January 2026* Excellent product, does exactly what you expect. Very timely purchase due to 8 days of snow and ice (and counting) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ put on the YaxTrax and I was walking like Legolas on snow *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 February 2015* Bought the XL as I have size 14 feet. These would probably just fit a size 15. I was very sceptical about them so decided to give them a try-out up Helvellyn today. About quarter of the way up the ice and snow started to encrust the path and I started slipping, put on the YaxTrax and I was walking like Legolas on snow. These things are brilliant and very cheap. Walked for miles on snow, ice and rocks, it was a delight. It was only when I started to descend down a relatively steep path did I wish I had crampons as the ice was very thick.Highly recommended, didn't come off, no damage. Perfect. ## Frequently Bought Together - Yaktrax Pro Traction Cleats - 360-Degree Grip on Snow, Ice, & Multi-terrain Surfaces - Elastic Outer Band w/ Easy-On/Off Heel Tab & 1.4mm Stainless Steel Coils - Abrasion Resistant - Unisex - Yaktrax Walk Traction Cleats - 360-Degree Grip on Snow, Ice, & Multi-terrain Surfaces - Elastic Outer Band w/ Easy-On/Off Heel Tab & 1.2mm Zinc-coated Steel Coils - Abrasion & Rust Resistant - Unisex - Yaktrax Diamond Grip - Full-Foot Traction on Ice, Snow, & Multi-Terrain Surfaces - Swiveling Diamond Bead Grip Points - Cold-Resistant Easy On/Off Elastic Upper Band --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/67561292-yaktrax-heavy-duty-traction-hiking-cleats-durable-rubber-strap-provides](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/67561292-yaktrax-heavy-duty-traction-hiking-cleats-durable-rubber-strap-provides) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
