The design is such that as designed the top straps are much stronger ( rated to hold over 100#) than the bottom solid vinyl sheet(rated to hold 21#). The top straps are also much longer. If you’d reverse then, the stand would not be very functional. If it worked at all, I’m sure you would not be happy with the result. **Q: How can we order replacement parts?
