By using a robust 55 lb. densified kraft paper release liner, this tape provides reliable performance for industrial applications, such as die-cutting and automated dispensers. Understanding the Scotch ATG System Scotch ATG system has proven to be the go-to adhesive solution since the early 1970s. For light and heavy industrial applications, the Scotch ATG Adhesive Applicators are convenient, reliable, versatile tools capable of attaching a wide range of materials. With no cure time, the adhesive instantly bonds long, large and small surfaces. As a portable, hand-held solution, it can apply tape to any shape or form, even from an uncomfortable position, while allowing your free hand to hold the part. With Scotch ATG Applicators, a touch of the finger triggers a quick, controlled application of Scotch ATG Transfer Tape at the same time as the liner rewinds into the applicator. There is no mess and no cleanup. 3M advanced acrylic adhesive bonds on contact and is formulated with a choice of properties including high temperature resistance, acid free, general purpose and high initial adhesion. The ATG system is a cost effective and more productive replacement to many double-sided tapes, tape applicators, as well as adhesive dots, staples and liquid adhesives. This applicator allows the ATG liner to rewind into the applicator as the adhesive is applied for hassle-free operation that eliminates messes and clean-up. ## Features - POWERFUL ADHESIVE PERFORMANCE: Provides immediate and permanent bonds with high adhesion, good shear-holding power, and UV resistance — all while remaining low odor - TRIED AND TESTED: This tape utilizes 3M Adhesive 400, a medium-firm, pressure-sensitive adhesive with an excellent balance of good initial adhesion and good shear-holding power across a range of temperatures - ADAPTABLE TO A VARIETY OF SURFACES: Adheres to difficult, varied, and textured surfaces for versatile general-purpose use - MADE FOR MANY APPLICATIONS: Ideal for bonding mat board in picture frames and dust covers; menus, invitations, table tents, and cards; commercial print assembly; and point-of-purchase promotional displays and inserts - A COMPLETE SOLUTION: This tape is designed for use with Scotch ATG Adhesive Applicators for quick and controlled application without mess or cleanup ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00FFDUG9M | | Adhesive Format | Transfer Tape | | Adhesive Location | Single Sided | | Adhesive Side Count | 1 | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,234 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #6 in Adhesive Transfer Tape | | Brand Name | 3M | | Color | Clear | | Compatible Material | Various Materials, Including Metals, Glass, Wood, Papers, Paints, Plastics, and Core Starting Materials | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (1,552) | | Foil Thickness | 2 mils | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00021200033315 | | Included Components | 1 Roll | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 0.5"W | | Item Resistance | solvent resistant, UV resistant | | Item Thickness | 2 mils | | Item Weight | 2.08 ounces | | Manufacturer | 3M | | Material Type | Adhesive-Only | | Model | CECOMINOD011464 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Transparent | | Part Number | 924 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Fleet and plant maintenance. | | Size Name | 0.50 in x 36 yd | | Surface Recommendation | Glass | | UPC | 021200033315 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 180 °F | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** 3M - **Color:** Clear - **Material:** Adhesive-Only - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Fleet and plant maintenance. ## Images ![Scotch ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 924, Clear Tape, 1/2 in x 36 yd 2.0 mil (Pack of 1) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61hFrm0ncEL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Number Of Items** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - 3M Scotch ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 924 Clear, 0.50 in x 36 yd 2.0 mil (Pack of 1) - 3M Scotch ATG 700 Adhesive Applicator, 1/2 in and 3/4 in wide rolls, Yellow - Logan Dust Cover Trimmer --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/6744650-scotch-atg-adhesive-transfer-tape-924-clear-tape-1-2](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/6744650-scotch-atg-adhesive-transfer-tape-924-clear-tape-1-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
