So I haven’t had to replace it yet and it has been a couple of months. So i would say it depends on how you are using it. **Q: Can this be put in the dishwasher?** A: We have several and they go through a steam cycle almost weekly in our dishwasher. We have several different items that we do at the same time. I have also boiled when a dishwasher isn't available **Q: Does it lather well like a loofah?** A: I think it lathers just as nicely and it doesn’t carry that musty smell. It’s easy to use and clean. Plus it drys fast and I love the handle for holding onto and it hangs nicely and doesn’t take up much room. I love this way more than I love those puffy loofahs. It’s 100% worth it imo and you get 2 for a great deal. I gave my second one to my autistic son and he is loving it. It’s also gentle yet exfoliating and it’s like a nice massage in the shower or bath. I highly recommend this. **Q: Is the third generation BPA free?** A: of course, this shower brush also made of food grade silicone, BPA free. ## Frequently Bought Together - INNERNEED Soft Silicone Body Cleansing Brush Shower Scrubber, Gentle Exfoliating and Massage for All Kinds of Skin (Dark Green) - PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength Antimicrobial, 5.5 Oz - 4 Pack Face Scrubber,JEXCULL Soft Silicone Facial Cleansing Brush Face Exfoliator Blackhead Acne Pore Pad Cradle Cap Face Wash Brush for Deep Cleaning Skin Care --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/673496573-innerneed-silicone-body-cleansing-brush-exfoliating-scrubber-dark-green](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/673496573-innerneed-silicone-body-cleansing-brush-exfoliating-scrubber-dark-green) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
