**Q: Can it grind meats?**
A: It has worked well grinding meats for me. I've ground steak, chicken, ground beef, and pot roast.

**Q: Is there any way to get a replacement for the silicone sealing ring? We lost ours ;(**
A: Not to my knowledge

**Q: Do you use the mill with the plastic washer in place or do you discard it?**
A: The "washer" is to be removed.  It is not included on the parts illustration and instructions.  It is evident that it is just part of the packaging, and the negative reviews may not be needed if the grinder were used with the blade and screen rubbing directly together.

**Q: Would this work for taking a baby on a cruise?**
A: Definitely!  Easily packable and turns most of your meals into one you can share with your baby!

Love it. I love that it makes puree a lot easier. I do veggies, fruits, and meat. Sometimes the meat gets stuck and I have to manually remove it from the grinder area but it’s not too bad. Wish it wasn’t plastic Re-attaching the grinder to the unit is a little tricky but you get the hang of it. I take it with me to restaurants.
