He had a habit of holding the joypad close to his stomach which would bend the connector lead on the headset until the inevitable loose connection. After hunting around trying to find a 4 pole lead I stumbled onto these and I figured cheap price and I get 3 leads so this should keep him going for a while. The 90 degree angled connector might help the lead survive a bit longer and I get 3 to use till I have to buy more. I have to admit that I was very impressed with the quality and nearly 3 months in and I am still only using the first one with no sign of it playing up so I am extremely pleased with this product and can recommend it to anyone who have to watch their kids destroy their headsets.
