We’ve tried a bunch of different brands, mostly higher-end sunscreens. I don’t care for them, as they tend to go on thick, feel heavy on the skin, don’t spread well and leave a very white cast. I call them “white mud.” I had been looking for something that would go on clearer, feel lighter and spread well. Lo and behold, Banana Boat now makes a mineral sunscreen. I put it through a real challenge yesterday, as my family and I were at Disneyland all day. Some of my family used the “white mud” sunscreen, and some used the Banana Boat. Both kept us very well protected from the sun yesterday; no one got any color or sunburn. However, I didn’t look like a ghost in our family photos! Bonus, Banana Boat is much cheaper than the fancy “white mud” brands.
