Review: 3.5 stars - the lid handle gets HOT and it’s awful. - This teapot is really nice and large, I like that. The lid unfortunately gets so incredibly hot it is ridiculous, I don’t like that. The other issue is the design of the strainer basket means you really have to put a lot of water into the teapot in order to make contact with looseleaf tea in the strainer basket. This is kind of a bummer because sometimes you just wanna make a couple cups of tea, and this teapot does not like doing that. I like that the handle does not heat up, and the glass seems quite sturdy, and the packaging was great – I actually saved it to put the teapot back into because I use this in my RV. Very handy! I just wish the strainer was closer to the bottom, and that the lid design had some sort of insulation so it didn’t burn your hand as badly. Alternatively, it could burn your hand, but the lid handle should be bigger.
