This lamp is truly remarkable. I bought it expecting to have to charge it after every night of use in the tent but I was wrong. After two weeks of camping in a tent and having this on every night, it was still at 88% charged by the end of the two weeks. I never had to charge it at all!! Not only does it stay charged for a long time, it is very bright and durable. I now have it sitting in my house for easy access for if the power goes out. I would definitely get one for that reason if you don't plan to use it for camping. I will probably buy another one to keep for emergencies.
