## Description

It's the simplicity and FootShape fit of the Escalante, but even faster. We've made them slimmer, meaner, lighter and more responsive. Whether it's starting lines, speed workouts or fast training runs, this street shoe is all you need to break through some PRs and win some segments. It has an updated knit upper for a comfortable and breathable fit. It has ALTRA EGO™ midsole foam for responsiveness and direct connection to the ground, with a touch of firmness. We've retained many of the great features of the classic racer, including the low stacking height of 22mm for fast sales and a roomy toe box and zero drop for natural movement. The Escalante Racer 2 is one of the most direct no-BS shoes we've ever made.

Review: The soul is like a brick of stiff plastic DO NOT BUY !!! - The original versions of this shoe were great , but this version is totally different, the soul is very hard , will take a break in period, and it’s just hard, which suck because it’s the soft plush soul of the previous version that is why I liked the shoe, now this is non existent, I’m very let down,
