This is a small nitpick for an outstanding, versatile tool, but once you get used to the self-opening feature you realize how annoying all other pliers and wire cutters are in comparison. Again, this is a nitpick. For my money, you can't go wrong with the concept of the nose of the jaws grabbing a stripped out Philips screw.
