The magnet is strong enough with geckos jumping on it no problem. They love this thing. Size wise it's definitely the size of a walnut shell, so perfect for small geckos or spiders. Review: Decent - Very cute and it's made pretty well. No issues with the magnet. My spider hasn't gone inside the acorn yet, but at least he's got some options for exploration when the mood strikes him. ## Features - Designed for spider lovers, it provides your spiders with a comfortable environment, rich content, and ample platforms for playing, foraging, resting, and breeding. - Made of real walnut, it adds a natural touch to the interior decoration of the jumping spider terrarium and can serve as a shelter for jumping spiders and other small animals. - Our jumping spider cave has a strong attraction with powerful neodymium magnets to ensure that it will not fall accidentally.
