It's super easy to set up and use. I was cutting plastic in about 10 minutes after opening the box. Some here are saying the saw is too loud. It's not. For one thing, it's a scroll saw, they are noisy by nature. Secondly, this isn't even that loud. It's no louder than a sewing machine and is about the same volume as my small airbrush air compressor. You probably don't want it in a small apartment with paper walls, but beyond that, its perfectly fine. It would be nice if it had an LED light facing down on to the cutting area, but that's easily rigged up. It should come with the miter gauge though. I'm not sure why that was made an extra. Review: Disappointed by recieving a demo piece/ used piece - Just recieved, upon opening was disappointed as I Recieved a demo piece I believe , has fingerprint marks all over, the saw tool is been polished with some wax polish or something, has saw dust inside the saw. Visibly looks old with Faded paint surface. Had to import from us expecting good quality but donno can't expect desertcart quality check...... Donno what to do with it, as we needed for my school kids projects delayed as it is. Further update recieved only 9 blades on package shows 10 blades. It's just a hapazardly packaged piece. The Miter Gauge for the Moto Saw is available through our Service Center.The part is a MISC part and the locking levers are included with this Miter Gauge. The price is $5.00 + state tax and $2.50 shipping. You can order this by calling our Dremel Customer Service. **Q: Do u need a Dremel to run or power it?** A: No Demel needed. It's a saw all on its own, pretty handy too. **Q: PLEASE is it possible to cut acrylic plastic sheet 3 mm thick PLEXIGLAS and get a reasonable finish TO EDGES** A: You’ll get a pretty decent finish on the edges, however you can always touch up the edges with some sand paper in rising grit numbers to whatever level of finish you’re after.
