They are easy to pull over your shoes. They are compactly packaged so it takes a little bit to open then up. I have been using them to paint in our basement to keep my shoes clean from paint and construction dust. They will last a few hours before they start wearing holes in the bottom and start shredding. I haven't found that they make your shoes slippery. They fit a variety of shoes sizes but a large men's shoe will be a stretch to get on. The excess material leaves a pointy toe and heel and i have had issues with stepping on it and pulling them off. I would consider them a light duty shoe cover.
