Review: Simple set up and excellent performance and images. - This camera has already caught a trespass in our garden. It's easy to set up. Easy to use. The app allows for access no matter where you are. All in all a fantastic system. I have it set to PIR Activated recording and in that mode to included solar panel is more than enough to keep it running. It's on 24/7 and the battery is actually gaining power. Can not recommend this camera any more highly.

This camera has already caught a trespass in our garden. It's easy to set up. Easy to use. The app allows for access no matter where you are. All in all a fantastic system. I have it set to PIR Activated recording and in that mode to included solar panel is more than enough to keep it running. It's on 24/7 and the battery is actually gaining power. Can not recommend this camera any more highly.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well but not perfect

Easy to install and setup and the recorded images are good. It uses white LED lights at night if no other light sources are available to create colour images at night. There are no infrared LED lights so the camera is visible at night. This also means that flying insects at night are attracted to it and triggers many Other Motion detection alerts. It would would work better if it used infrared in surveillance mode and on detection of user selected options to turn on the white LEDs to capture the image in colour. Options would be: Person, Vehicle, Animal, Other. You can set numerous monitor points, however, only one is allowed as the default monitor point. The camera CANNOT be set to 'patrol' between your various monitor points. I have noticed that despite having my driveway gates within the default monitor point it has failed to record my car being driven in or out. I suggest people also check out the Tapo C660 4K Solar-Powered Pan/Tilt Security Camera which uses both infrared and white light LEDs.
