It's priming system kind of sucks but once you get it going it's spectacular. I have multiple tanks and typically would buy the Fluval 407. I like this one better with the UV built in. It burns out pretty regularly but when it's working it's phenomenal. Just keep plenty of extra bulbs. So far, So good. Side by side this one is better bang for the buck and the UV works great.
