Review: Big fan, pricey but worth it - We have the Tripp Trapp chair, had the Newborn seat, and have now bumped up to the Baby chair. Our little sweetheart loves to sit up to eat now and this chair holds her in well without being too constricting. With the (third party) chair pad in place, it's a little tricky sometimes to get her legs in without damaging her, but a little practice has proved sufficient. I'd also note that depending on your child's size, you might want to get a set of straps to hold them in more securely - certainly we don't leave ours unattended if she's not strapped in. We also bought third-party straps as the Tripp ones are crazy expensive, but overall everything works.

We have the Tripp Trapp chair, had the Newborn seat, and have now bumped up to the Baby chair.
