It goes like this. Memory has a speed(frequency), lets say 1333MHz. This is called the Base DRAM Clock Frequency. Memory chips are labeled DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, and DDR5. The number after the DDR is the number of data transfers per clock. Next is the memory bus or "Interface" all of which are 64 Bits, However a CPU or GPU may have more than 1 Interface. Most PC's have 2 interfaces known as dual symmetric memory mode. Each interface is 64 Bits x 2 interfaces = 128 Bits. So to figure out how fast your memory is all you need to do is take the clock frequency which was 1333MHz, Lets say we are using DDR3 Memory and lets say the memory Bus is 128 Bits. Then take (1333)MHz x DDR(3) x (64)Bits x (2)Interfaces = 1333 x 3 x 64 x 2 = 511,872,000,000 Bits/Second (59.589GB/Second). **Q: The heat sink looks huge. It looks like it will block the slot next to the PCIex16 from use. Does it exceed the width of a single slot?** A: I'm going to put in my two cents here: I got the 128 bit 4 GB version with the large heat sink. I installed it seamlessly below my existing graphics card. As such, this card took only one slot for me, sliding neatly in directly under another card. So while it sounds like Sagacious' and Pyper 1's experience differed, mine was that even the largest form factor (not even low-profile) fit into one and only one slot. **Q: does it run good on gta 5** A: According to some benchmark tests, example at www.game-debate.com the EVGA Geforce 730 2mb is 55% slower then the GPU recommended by GTA-V. I have only heard reports of lagging on the 1mb version. But there is still the fact it's still below the recommended GPU required by the game. I would think that some of this would also be affected by the performance of your system as well.
