My grandson suffers with travel sickness and these are so much better than a bowl as liquid is absorbed by the liner. He can just grab one if the need arises and once used they can be tied up, keeping in the smell, and disposed of at the next stop. Also small enough to keep a couple in you handbag if needed for when travelling in other peoples cars or on buses.
