## Description

From the manufacturer Why does the tape's adhesive seem weaker than expected? The tape's performance depends on several factors Surface Type: The tape works best on smooth surfaces like glass, metal, or smooth plastic. Surface Condition: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, or grease. Dirt can weaken adhesion. Curing Time: Allow the tape to cure for at least 24 hours to fully bond with the surface and reach its maximum strength. Application Pressure: Apply firm, even pressure on the tape for at least 20 seconds before removing the protective film. This helps create a stronger bond. Temperature Sensitivity: Apply the tape in temperatures between 15°C and 30°C (59°F to 86°F) for optimal performance. Extreme cold or heat may affect adhesion. Why does the double side tape have an odour when opened? The tape is made with materials like acrylic, which can have a slight odour when unsealed. This is normal and safe. The adhesive's composition causes the odour and does not indicate a defect. To reduce the smell Store the tape in a well-ventilated area for 24 hours. Avoid airtight storage immediately after opening if the smell is bothersome. The odour will naturally dissipate within a short period. Where should the mounting tape not be used? Avoid applying the tape on the following surfaces Rough or Uneven Surfaces: Textured surfaces like brick or stucco may prevent proper bonding. Wet or Moist Surfaces: Moisture compromises the adhesive, so ensure the surface is completely dry before application. Permanent Damage Surfaces: Be cautious when using the tape on varnished wood, antique furniture, or other surfaces where removal may cause damage. Unstable or Delicate Surfaces: Freshly painted walls, powdery surfaces, or surfaces prone to peeling or crumbling. The tape may damage these surfaces upon removal. General Tips for Optimal Use Storage: Keep the tape in a cool, dry place to maintain adhesive quality over time. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures during storage. Removal Guidance: To avoid residue or surface damage, peel the tape off slowly and at a 45° angle. If necessary, use a hair dryer to heat the tape for removal.

Review: This stuff grips! - I originally bought magnetic L-plates for my car, but on my very first drive, the plate on the bonnet flew completely off, sailed over my roof, and hit the car behind me. Needing a much more secure solution, I decided to try this double-sided nano tape to lock the plates down, and it has been a total lifesaver. This tape is exceptionally strong. Since applying it, the L-plates haven't budged a millimeter. I've driven at high speeds and through heavy, torrential rain, and the adhesive hasn't loosened up or peeled at all. It provides a completely reliable, weatherproof grip. Because nano tape is incredibly sticky, my only slight concern is leaving it out in the sun and elements for months at a time, which might make it tough to peel off later. To protect my car's paintwork from any potential damage, I plan to take the plates off every few weeks and reapply fresh tape. If you need something heavy-duty that absolutely will not budge in wet or windy weather, this nano tape is perfect. Just be mindful of delicate surfaces if you plan to leave it on long-term!
Review: Stick well - A little thickness to this double sided tape which allows me to stick my door sign on the brick wall firmly. The adhesion is good when I use it to attach the magnetic door screen to my patio door. Peeling it off is not easy but doable. With extra care, it can be removed without leaving any residue.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's done the job
*by O***R on 4 March 2026*

Used to attach 4 raffia/seagrass mats (decorative wall art) to the wall. Rather than marking the walls or making holes. Three held up with 4 small pieces, one fell off so I've added 2 extra pieces and they are now all fine. It is a stretchy double sided clear tape, it's thicker than standard tape so if you need tape for paper, card crafts this isn't for you. The backing takes a little patience.
