Does it actually make a difference to the user?** A: Good afternoon, Thank you for your enquiry. The Duo ruler has an opaque strip approximately one centimetre from the top, this means you can highlight one line of text and block out the next few rows, this is particularly useful if the user is easily distracted by what is next! The plain window ruler has a fine tracking line again approx 1cm from the top but the rest of the ruler can be seen through. I allow my learners to try out the different colours and choose which one they feel most comfortable with when reading.
