Review: I won't even try someone else's - First off, let me start with how much I HATED goosenecks. Had them at a residency for almost 10yrs and they either fell apart or stripped the base 1-3 times per year. I put these into use ON THE ROAD (2-3 shows weekly) for over a year, and neither the base or gooseneck even showed signs of weakening. Every bit as stable as when I got them, and they've been bent to every shape imaginable, as they were used by various people singing from various heights and distances on a piano. They were perfectly compatible with the only "heavy duty" strength base I found on desertcart. Mounting/Assembly couldn't be any easier, because you just screw on the base (which turns independent) and then the mic clip can also be put on independently. This was actually the original product that introduced me to ZealSound and I jump at the opportunity to use anything else of theirs that I've found, because they're always top notch.
Review: Good - Works good

## Questions & Answers

**Q: 1. Is this gooseneck long enough for overhead microphone positioning?**
A: The gooseneck is 13 inches long. If you need a longer extension for overhead or distant positioning, you may need to purchase a longer arm or an additional extension.

**Q: 2. Will this fit all standard microphone stands?**
A: It comes with a 5/8"-27 standard male-to-female thread, which fits most US microphone stands and holders. However, if your stand uses a different thread size (such as 3/8"), you will need an adapter.

**Q: 3. Does this gooseneck include mounting hardware or clips?**
A: No extra hardware or clips are included. The package only contains the 13-inch gooseneck arm. You’ll need to use your existing microphone clip or adapter.

**Q: 4. Does this product come with both male and female ends?**
A: Yes, the gooseneck has a 5/8"-27 male thread on one end and a 5/8"-27 female thread on the other end for easy connection between a mic stand and a mic clip.

**Q: 5. Will this fit my phone holder or makeup mirror mount?**
A: It fits accessories that have a 5/8" female thread. If your holder or mirror uses a different size or a clip system, an adapter will be required.

Works good

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flexible enough to move it where you want, but stiff enough to stay there when you put it there
*by B***X on November 30, 2025*

I needed this to mount a large condenser mic and close the screen for my audio work. This one is nice and stiff and doesn't sag like the previous gooseneck mount that I had. The microphone assembly and pop screen on mine weigh about a pound and 1/2 and they don't even budge with this particular gooseneck
