I finally caved and bought the brand my vein specialist recommends- Sigvaris. These are AMAZING. They stay up without me having to glue them in place!! They’re comfortable, and as long as I put them on first thing in the morning, they minimize the swelling caused by lymphedema. They’re a little pricey, but well worth the cost. The material is not “bulletproof” but it is sturdy. My dog pawed at my leg for attention the first day I wore these, and her nails didn’t rip them. That’s about the best I think I can expect! I will say that if you have lymphedema, the 20-30 mmhg compression level may not be enough.
