Review: Got not one but TWO defective robots. Doesn’t work with iPhone either?? - Bought this on desertcart Prime Day for $150 and I’m pretty sure it’s their way of just getting rid of the defective robots they have in the back room or something? Not only would my iPhone not connect to the robot (my husband had to do it on his Android, and if I lived alone, I wouldn’t have been able to connect it), but the fully charged robot would literally just jump off the charger and stop when you hit “clean”. Doesn’t work if you use the app to start it either. It literally says it’s vacuuming but it’s not, it’s just sitting on the floor like it’s dead. I’m extremely unimpressed with their customer service hours and wait times. They’re only available when the typical person is at work and it took me three days to get somebody because I sent an email which didn’t get a response for three days and then when using the chat feature it took 45 minutes for someone to respond the first time, and at that point I had walked away from my computer for more than 3 minutes so the chat was disabled. The second time I sat and stared at my computer for a full 35 minutes before getting a response, only to be told to remove the battery and replace it and also to factory reset it. Because the robot would not factory reset and the battery thing didn’t work, he deemed it defective and sent me a new one. I AM impressed with the time it took to get the new one, it was literally a day and a half. But guess what? The new one had the EXACT same problem. Not only the iPhone connection issue but also the hopping-off-the-charger and cannot be factory reset issue. Why are you sending me products that don’t work??? Additionally, you don’t find this out until you get the damn thing but it says in the instructions to ROLL UP YOUR RUGS to use this robot. I’m sorry what??? This is a vacuum that only mops if you have water in the basin and you still cannot use it on your living room rug that is tucked under a thousand pounds of furniture. Returning both of these pieces of junk and will not be buying anything from this company. Going to try another brand.

Bought this on Amazon Prime Day for $150 and I’m pretty sure it’s their way of just getting rid of the defective robots they have in the back room or something? Not only would my iPhone not connect to the robot (my husband had to do it on his Android, and if I lived alone, I wouldn’t have been able to connect it), but the fully charged robot would literally just jump off the charger and stop when you hit “clean”. Doesn’t work if you use the app to start it either. It literally says it’s vacuuming but it’s not, it’s just sitting on the floor like it’s dead. I’m extremely unimpressed with their customer service hours and wait times. They’re only available when the typical person is at work and it took me three days to get somebody because I sent an email which didn’t get a response for three days and then when using the chat feature it took 45 minutes for someone to respond the first time, and at that point I had walked away from my computer for more than 3 minutes so the chat was disabled. The second time I sat and stared at my computer for a full 35 minutes before getting a response, only to be told to remove the battery and replace it and also to factory reset it. Because the robot would not factory reset and the battery thing didn’t work, he deemed it defective and sent me a new one. El iRobot Roomba Combo SC Essential me encantó desde el primer uso. La función de aspirar y trapear en un solo equipo es realmente práctica y ahorra muchísimo tiempo. La succión es muy buena para polvo, pelos de mascota y migas, mientras que el trapero deja el piso con una sensación de limpieza rápida y uniforme. La navegación es bastante eficiente: cubre bien las áreas, evita obstáculos y no se queda atorado fácilmente. Es ideal para uso diario y para mantener los pisos limpios sin tener que estar pendiente todo el tiempo. Además, el contenedor es sencillo de vaciar y el depósito de agua es fácil de rellenar. Lo mejor es poder controlarlo desde la app: programar limpiezas, ver el progreso y manejarlo incluso cuando no estás en casa. El nivel de ruido es moderado y no resulta molesto. En resumen, un robot muy funcional, práctico y con excelente desempeño para el día a día. Una gran opción si quieres una limpieza completa sin complicarte.
