Glue gives up immediately from the heat of the LED. The LED then disappears inside the unit. Completely unsealed so 100% exposed to rain etc. Where the wire comes out is open and where the LED sits is open. The wire is of such a small grade it is not easily joined into vehicle grade wiring.Cannot be tightened in place as there is nowhere on the base to grip whilst tightening the product. Not suitable for the tough, wet environment of a motor vehicle. As the MOT was due I did not return them but tried epoxy glue to assemble them properly but after a struggle gave up as they were just not up to any task. Waste of money ### ⭐ Worst Product i have bought on amazon *by R***E on 1 June 2019* absolutely shocking quality. Do not even consider them. They lasted 10 seconds before failing, the glue that holds the LEDs in melted. These should not be sold. Not Fit for purpose. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/65154947-cargool-2pcs-number-plate-lights-led-lights-for-cars-motorbikes](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/65154947-cargool-2pcs-number-plate-lights-led-lights-for-cars-motorbikes) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
