I'm hiking in bear country this summer!** A: I have never noticed any smell and I have been using it for years. To make sure, I have just put sone on my hand to smell it and, to me, it doesn't smell at all so I think you'll be fine. I'm in South Africa at the moment and I wear this cream every day.
