The mat is thick and very well-padded — exactly what I wanted to add extra safety and cushioning when the kids practice, climb, or occasionally lose balance. The material feels strong and durable, and even with daily use it still looks like new. The surface isn’t non-slip, but the padding and overall sturdiness still make it feel secure and comfortable. It also folds up easily, which is super convenient when we need to move it or put it away. I’ve had this for a year so far and it’s great. Thick enough so you won’t feel uncomfortable in your workout and it holds up really well. Carrying it around is easy but of course it is big so just keep that mind. I workout on it fairly often, using it to stretch, Pilates and etc!
