I didn't ask about the griddle. **Q: Can this be mounted on a boat pedestal mount?** A: I wouldn't. Although you could probably fabricate a mount, the unit would be awkward to use. It's fairly big and bulky. **Q: will metal spatulas scratch the surface?** A: No! I have used both Stainless steel and plastic on my grill and no scratches **Q: Is it possible to use 1 lb propane tanks?** A: Not that I know of. Standard 20lb tanks and bigger. ## Frequently Bought Together - Royal Gourmet GD4002T 4-Burner Tailgater Grill and Griddle Combo, Portable Flat Top Propane Gas Grill with 40,000 BTUs Output for Backyard or Outdoor Cooking, Black - Royal Gourmet CR4002T 40 Inch Premium Oxford Grill Cover, Durable UV and Water Resistant Outdoor Tabletop Griddle Cover for Weather Protection, Easy On/Off, Black - Nice C Folding Grill Table, Camping Table, Tailgate Tables, Grill Tables, Outdoor, Metal Folding Adjustable Height&Width, Mesh Net, Carry Handle --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/646726489-royal-gourmet-gd4002t-4-burner-tailgater-grill-and-griddle-combo](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/646726489-royal-gourmet-gd4002t-4-burner-tailgater-grill-and-griddle-combo) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
